My name is Jason Boockvar. I am a junior at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School and I live on the Upper West Side.

In October 2019, I realized that bike lanes were growing, which resulted in my friends and I riding Citi-Bikes more. My friends and I despised wearing helmets as they were uncomfortable and embarrassing to wear. As a result, I set out to find a solution to provide teenagers with casual and stylish helmets that ensure both safety and comfort.  

After over a year of refining the brand and the product, we launched BTN Better Than Nothing to the public on September 11th, 2020. We sell, market and promote fashionable bike helmets to teenagers especially young adults boys

Today there are two places to buy.  On our website btnhelmets.com and on amazon.

100% of my profits will be donated in support of both health and safety awareness, including LLS (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) of NYC.

In 2021, we plan to launch BTN Better Than Nothing to the Swiss consumer.
